Oh July

So July is ending, and August is beginning!
Breaking Dawn comes out on Saturday, and I am so excited, though who knows when Lotsabooks will get the copies in. I hope they come in on the day of. that would make me so happy!

Today I spent around an hour spreading my resume around the town, and the MINUTE I stepped in the door I had a call from Canex, I have an interview tomorrow at two and I'm pretty excited about it.
Reasons to work at Canex:
Good money (Pretty sure they pay $10.50 an hour)
Close to home (I can walk)
Good hours of operation (Still time to hang out, keep up in school, etc)

Also, my iPod is in Edmonton already, I expect to get it tomorrow, which is great, as I can give bekuhh her nano back and have my iTouch. :) Hopefully nothing goes wrong with this one, though that WOULD be my luck.

Well that is all for now, sports fans!
Love you forever!
Ecks Oh.

What Goes Around...

... Comes around in the end.

Hello dear readers, if there even are any yet. Today I woke up at 10:00am, which is early considering my late, late night. Oh well, those are the breaks. So anyways, I woke up ridiculously early to primp and make myself look decent to go circulate my resume around town. And yet here I am, putting this into my blog before I even start getting ready. Oh well. So I am listening to Sing It Loud again, they are so talented. Minneapolis, represent!! So since I only blogged once yesterday, I thought that could be like, a fun trend where I don't post 6 times a day. I don't know, what do you think?

Anyways, my job search begins today, and I don't know what to expect, I mean my first job involved me going to my neighbours house, knocking on the door and saying "Liz can I have a job?" and then regretting it every moment after. Still, I stayed there for five months, and now I am trying to find a job I can actually enjoy doing. So three cheers for that!

Quick poll, where should I work? Comment it up with a place of employment. Maybe it will be my dream job. Right now I am applying at Esso and JJ. Parr, and then basically every non-restaurant place in town. What do you think, compadres?

11:41 and I'm feeling finnnee!

So Today we are calling the UPS lady to come take my iPod away. And then, within the week, I will (hopefully) get my new/refurbished iPod back. :) I'm excited. It was so nice of Rebeka to lend me her old video nano, but I just want my iTouch back, as it is like my baby. It's like I gave birth to a mutant, and now they are taking it away for two days to cleanse it of it's mutant-ness. Speaking of mutants, watched The Hills Have Eyes with Ryan and Beka the other day, it was not really scary, not THAT gory, I was more scared of what MIGHT happen than what was actually happening. Yes I was a little freaked out while we watched it, but that was to be expected, as I don't watch horror films. But over all, don't watch the Hills Have Eyes, it's a terrible movie, and if you can watch it and not want to look away, you are seriously demented.

So last night I spent about an hour watching old episodes of TAI TV, and I discovered a few things about myself:
1) I really enjoy hearing about The Butcher and seeing what he can do
2) I kind of just enjoy LOOKING at The Butcher, he's a drummer, which is hot, he has tattoos, which is hot, and he
's just so adorable and loveable and talented. Oh God. I'm developing a crazy fangirl crush!! :O
3) Sisky Business is hilarious, and most often is the star; and I don't mind that.

So if anyone can think of some songs to send me for my playlist "100 best songs ever" it would be great, otherwise it will just be chosen from what's on my iPod, and while I enjoy my music immensley, there have to be some BETTER songs than some of the stuff on there. Thanks Dudes and Betties. Peace!

Swear to Shake it Up;

If you swear to listen.

So I was listening to some old school Panic At The Disco and it put me in a nostalgic mood, even though it's not even that old, and I just HAD to post one more blog today even though I said I wouldn't. Maybe I am blogger of the year; who knows how this will turn out. I bet you are pleased "Oh God, another over zealous blogger who can't even live in the moment without blogging it." I will try to avoid that though, but when I'm famous these old entries will be hilarious to read, I'll just bet.

I just watched Hannah Montana and Naturally Sadie. I feel like I always hated both those shows, but then Rebeka comes along and Disney Channel is all I watch. Oh God I am so lame. Oh Well, maybe I can be a Disney Channel star. It clearly doesn't take much talent, or good looks, I guess I'm a shoe-in. Wow I feel super lame. Time for a poll. Raise your hand if you think Kirsten is a loser! -every hand in the world goes up-

So as a last comment, you should download something by Sing It Loud, or better yet, buy their EP, and wait for the CD to come out, because they are super good, saw them live on the 19th, they had so much energy and talent, and Nate even came to talk to me and my friend. Well, Peace Out.

Fuck My Life!

So, all summer I have been so excited because I was most likely going to get to see my friend Eric in E-Town. His soccer team needed one more win to get to E-town in August, but Eric's ankle was injured and he couldn't PLAY. What the fuck? It's not his fault, clearly, but it's kind of devastating. Nothing is working out the way I want it to this summer. First, Warped tour was destroyed by my sisters excessive spending, then I couldn't even stay the night in E-Town after the concert, I didn't get hired at Staples, and now I don't get to see Eric.

I have nothing left to look forward to. Life sucks, and then you die. At least I have friends in Cold Lake this summer, I mean besides Brenna :S Because she lives so far out I can't see her very much, man I miss that girl! Note to self : Call Brenna to chill this week before she goes to B.C.

Well, I guess this will be the last entry of the day, as it is the fourth. I can see why people are addicted to these things. I guess I am going for BLOGGER OF THE YEAR! represent, represent!

Peace Out Party People.

Awhhhhh!

All I want out of life, is a music career and an English Bulldog that I will buy as a puppy, and name Winston.

Your Mission.....

Ever seen mission impossible?
Well, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is the following:

I am currently compiling the best 100 songs in the history of the world in one single playlist.
What I need you to do, is log on to MSN, and send me the MP3 files of one or two of your personal favourites, which will then be possible choices for my list.

Sound good?
Perfect.

Oh Man.

So on Friday, Pete Wentz posted a song off of TAI's new CD. The song is His Girl Friday, and oh boy is it ever good. I know that I had a terrible week, and yet that one song had the power to pull me out of a horrible slump. Music is just so comforting, but at the same time not, because if it doesn't take you out of your comfort zone is it really worth it? I mean who wants everything to be the same, and reliable all the time? Reliability is comforting, but who wants to know what to expect all the time? Not I, that's for sure.

The thing about music is that it can keep most people going. When I was temping at Staples all it took to cheer me up was the right song, my friend Beka and I even assembled a Staples playlist and brought speakers. It made the days go by so much faster. It's amazing what the right song can do.

So here is my challege of the day. Name just ONE song that can make you feel better when you are down. I'll name one as well.

"Slow Motion (Third Eye Blind Cover) by Brendon Urie" His voice sounds so great, and his piano playing skills are so enviable, I suggest you go illegally download that track immediately.
