Woah.
All I gotta say to you
Is that we are through
I thought we’d be friends to the end
But instead all I got were tears.
You said that you could be
Your true self around me;
But babe it was all just a game (game)
and all I want is to know
Why you do this to me?
This is not a love song;
I never lost in romance
I just want to know
Why best friends end this way
This is not(not not a love song)
this is not(not not, not a love song)
this is not a love song (love song)
why did this happen
Why are you so cold?
What happened to the good old days
Where we only needed each other?
This is not a love song;
I never lost in romance
I just want to know
Why best friends end this way
This is not(not not a love song)
this is not(not not, not a love song)
this is not a love song (love song)
How dare you say
I made it end this way
Why are you so cold? (so cold)
and why did everything change.
Music reminds me
Of the words we never said
The things we will never know
And the friendship that died so early.
This is not a love song;
I never lost in romance
I just want to know
Why best friends end this way
This is not(not not a love song)
this is not(not not, not a love song)
this is not a love song (love song)
This is not a love song;
I never lost in romance
I just want to know
Why best friends end this way
This is not(not not a love song)
this is not(not not, not a love song)
this is not a love song (love song)
I never lost in love;
But I lose what’s worse.

anyways, this is the e-mail I sent:
"To Whom It May Concern:
I am Kirsten, a teenage girl who has the misfortune of living in Alberta, Canada. This is normally not a misfortune, there is tons of money and disposable income to be found. The reason I hate living here is the fact that there are never any good shows. Now before this sounds like a rant I would like to get to the point.
I was wondering why it is, that a company who manages such amazing acts as Doug, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco etc, doesn't play any shows in the richest province of Canada. I think that if you did, you would find almost all the shows would be sold out.
If you are not the right person to contact about Canadian shows being booked then I am sorry for the inconvenience, but is there any possibility that you could point me in the right direction on who to contact?
Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
Kirsten"
Well there will be more of this after I get home from work!

Sometimes I wonder if there is even a point to me blogging, does anyone even read this?! If you do, comment it up, I'd like to know what you all have to say.
So a little over a week ago I was watching the debates for the (Canadian) Election. They had opted for an informal around the table type discussion. This leads me to my main point. Everybody running for Prime Minister looked like huge idiots. They were all interrupting each other, and heckling Stephen Harper trying to make him do something that would make him as immature as all of them. Much as I dislike Stephen Harper based purely on his personality, you have to respect him for making an effort, I guess. I am still in quite a despair though, because one of two - maybe three at most of the total five party leaders is going to be the prime minister! In my eyes, it's between Stephen Harper, Stephan Dion and Jack Layton. Now, in my opinion, Stephan Dion has no chance in Hell. It's a slim but growing chance for Jack Layton. So basically we might end up stuck with the Conservatives again; but who knows, maybe Canada will do something to shock me. Everyone over the age of eighteen, ROCK THE VOTE.
On a lighter note, last weekend I bought the new Sing It Loud CD, Come Around. The songs we all know and love are there, as well as a ton of songs not seen before. If you like upbeat, pop-ey music with a ton of sarcasm and bitterness in the undertones, this CD is for you. I love it so much. Next on my list is "Hold On Tight" by Hey Monday. If you are a fan of Decaydance or FBR, you'd better get out there and support them!
Also, yesterday I got my new cellular device. I got the LG Wine, which has only been available for sale since September 15th, and the store here doesn't even have a floor model yet. It's a great phone, easy to text, good for talking and the camera is nice too. :) I love love LOVE it so much.
Anyways, I will end this rant for today, and I will be posting again tomorrow after work, of that you can rest assured!
Two days until needless turkey slaughter day!

Those Watermelon Smiles Just Can't Ripen Under Water.
and boy did they have fun,
behind the sea"
I am going to continue with my "crusade" to get more Canadian shows from the great bands - not just the genres I am fond of, but all music. It's all art, and it all needs representation. I will be organizing arguments and sending e-mails and letters to the right companies and I hope I get something. When I get addresses to the people I will post it so you can get involved too!
I guess I should go to bed though, so I will post tomorrow.
